Your Mission

As an Engineering Manager – Delivery & AI Enablement, you are responsible for the human and operational performance of the Builders team. Your role sits at the intersection of management, product delivery, business understanding, and technical tooling.

You are not there to be the ultimate technical expert, but to create the conditions for smooth, predictable, and high-quality delivery by helping teams focus on impact rather than friction.

Your Main Responsibilities

  1. Management & Leadership of Builders

  • Manage a team of Full-Stack Developers / Builders on a daily basis.

  • Conduct regular 1-1s: support, feedback, skill development, individual and collective alignment.

  • Create a healthy, demanding, and empowering work environment that fosters autonomy, quality, and impact.

  • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and the development of team members.

  1. Delivery Management & Project Management

  • Supervise the delivery of product projects: prioritization, planning, progress tracking, risk management, and trade-offs.

  • Work closely with product, design, QA, and business teams to ensure delivery aligns with business challenges.

  • Help structure needs, clarify dependencies, and ensure good cross-coordination.

  • Establish and evolve simple, effective, and suitable rituals and processes

  1. Business Understanding & Product Link

  • Develop a strong understanding of business issues and customer usage to inform delivery decisions.

  • Be a liaison between product vision, technical constraints, and the actual capabilities of teams.

  • Help Builders keep their focus on delivered value and user impact.

  1. Tooling, DevOps & AI Enablement

  • Drive and improve delivery tooling: CI/CD, environments, observability, quality, security, reliability.

  • Use and integrate AI tools to streamline delivery: automation, test generation, documentation, monitoring, analysis assistance, etc.

  • Design and deploy AI-enhanced workflows, not only for Builders but also for Product, QA, support, and ops teams.

  • Identify friction points in the delivery chain and propose concrete, measurable, and sustainable improvements.

Profile Sought

Experience & Key Skills

  • Proven experience in managing technical teams (Engineering Manager, Tech Lead Manager, Delivery Manager, or equivalent role).

  • Strong technical culture (web, backend, CI/CD, cloud, overall architecture), without the need to be an expert on every topic.

  • Experience in managing technical or product projects, with a strong delivery and impact sensitivity.

  • Marked interest in AI applied to development and delivery workflows

Human & Organizational Skills

  • Natural leadership based on listening, clarity, and accountability.

  • Excellent communication and cross-coordination skills.

  • Ability to step back, arbitrate, and prioritize in a rapidly evolving environment.
